I am a subscriber to the magazine and I ordered the catalogue. I was amazed with the catalogue. I’m a new quilter, although I have done a lot of sewing from patterns and also making my own patterns. Well, when I tried to place my first order which was the Asian Screens Kit it was sold out. It caught my eye from the first time. I wanted to order two kits, so I could make them up for my children, has Heirloom quilts. Because I was not on the ball, by the time I finally decided to order it, the kit was sold out. I was so dismayed. I told my husband and he suggested to try ordering the fabric for it. I placed my order and received it a couple days ago. I was so excited when my husband came home with my order, I could hardly contain myself. The fabric is so beautiful and I’m so glad I also ordered two packages of the Asian scraps. Back to my Asian Medley package I ordered the two panels that go with the Asian Screens fabric. I planned on cutting the panel like it’s shown on the kit, but then when I read that this item is discontinued and it would be a collectors item, I was ecstatic. Knowing this I could not cut the panel. How appropriate for a Heirloom Quilt for my two children. Now I’m proudly making a pattern for queen size quilts using my packages of fabric that I received. Thank you for the beautiful fabrics and I defiantly will be ordering more, although my shipping to Canada is higher than I anticipated, this order was well worth the price. I’m thinking of joining one of the monthly clubs you offer. Thank you, Keepsake Quilting has made my future quilting days more enjoyable, not that they weren’t. Thank you.
