Spring 2011 Log Cabin Quilt Challenge

Here are all the submissions for our Create a Log Cabin Keepsake Challenge.  This challenge was to make the classic Log Cabin pattern your own by designing a challenge quilt from out Challenge Medley. Six fabrics were provided; entrants were required to use at least four, and are able to add two of their own fabrics. Finished size of all quilts is 30″ x 30″.

Quilts will be judged on workmanship, design, creativity and use of color. This year we received 145 quilts! There were many different interpretations of the Log Cabin pattern, ranging from very traditional to completely original.

As you can see in the submissions HERE, quilters really used their imaginations when interpreting the Log Cabin design.
